Polish up your writing skills by taking on a challenge. Write about something you wouldn't normally write about! Don't be shy!

You can add your Writing Workshop entry to The Circle and link your journal, or you can add it to your journal with a small explanation and link The Circle. Or you can do both!

New Writing Workshop [2/22/07]

Pretend that you are one of the elements: Fire, Water, Wind, Earth or Light. Write about your journey, and/or feelings as this element and/or how you effect everything around you. *This can be as a poem or story.

GROUP WRITING WORKSHOP!
For this writing workshop, you must find a partner. You can do this as many times as you want with as many people as you want, including me!!!

The Activity:

1. Find a partner
2. You: Note P2 a topic.
3. Your Partner: Note P1 with two lines that pertain to the topic they noted you.
4. You: Note P2 with the two lines they sent you, and add two of your own. At this point you should see it either developing into a poem or story.
5. Your Partner: Note P1 with your two lines, their two lines, add two more, and repeat as many times as you and your parner desire.
6. Add your Writing Workshop either to your journal or as an entry in The Circle, or both.
*This can be edited by both or either people involved for smoothness before adding...

Write a poem or story about a girl or guy who is in love with a girl or guy who is not of the same orientation, and the problems it caused. *Orientaion means what sex you are attracted to.

Write a poem or story about an unusual, and/or complicated relationship.
*This can be romantic, or it could also be between a student and teacher, a parent and child, siblings or friends too. Or any other odd relationship you can think of.
